Exmore Town Park

The centerpiece of recreation, entertainment and relaxation within Exmore is the spacious, three-acre Town Park. Located on Main Street within walking distance of residential areas and downtown shops, this easily accessible green space is the vibrant heart of the community. 

 Amenities

The expansive grounds with flowering trees, picnic tables, grills for cooking out, benches for sitting, free highspeed internet and large playground with swings, slides, climbing bars and other kid-friendly amenities provide something for everyone, spanning all generations. The well-equipped playground area, enjoyed by children of all ages, from infants to preteen, is a communal backyard that encourages friendly interaction and play.

Open from Dawn to Dusk

The Town Park is open from dawn to dusk, and the Town provides free high-speed internet throughout the park from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. 

Facilities

A large multi-use building with roll-up doors that create an open-air feel provides a covered space for events year around, or when the weather is inclement. A performance stage is nearby. There are clean, town-maintained restrooms (seasonal) and ample free parking.

Events

The Park and its amenities are open to local families and organizations for social gatherings and for celebrating special occasions such as birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, weddings and reunions. It is home to multiple annual community and ESVA-wide events and fundraisers, including, Town Socials, Concerts, Exmore Artisans Fest, Juneteenth Festival, Rotary Oyster Roast, Exmore Car Show,  Community Easter Egg Hunt, Earth Day/ Back to Our Roots and more.

Open to Everyone

Exmore is an inclusive community, and park facilities are open to everyone, including families from neighboring towns and visiting tourists.
